2nd Operation

Had my 7 week check up today from my Preserflo op on the right eye. Pressure still 9 thankfully and they seem very happy with the result so it’s now time for the left eye next Thursday. Same procedure as it appears to work on the right eye. Still dreading it though!

Great news you must be relieved . Good luck with op next week, I know it's a thought even though you've already been through it once but fingers crossed you have same reduction in pressure and it will all be worth it .

I’m so glad you have good results with your first op and I’m sure the next one will be good too , my first one was also a success and I’m waiting to go for my left eye any day soon . It will be amazing to be drop free I can’t wait !

Thank you Toby. I’m nervous this time as it will be under local and not general however, I’m grateful it’s happening so quickly again. Apparently the right eye is ‘Perfect’ after surgery with the pressure still 9. They wanted to see the result and I will now have the same op, Preserflo + MMC surgery. Fingers cross! Hope you are well.

Can I ask what age you are?

Officially 59 soon to be 60 in October. However, I’m also 2 years as I have my life saving anniversary from my liver transplant of which the Sarcodosis j had gave me Uveitis which then travelled to my liver and attacked it hence all my eye problems.
