Safety goggle recommendations

Hey all,

I have a pair of safety goggles I wear over my glasses for when I work on the garden or sometimes for my actual work which sometimes involves. Dust and just things that might pop into my eye.

Anyway, not too pleased with the ones I have wondering if anyone here has good experience with safety goggles and would recommend them.

Thank you

Hi there - I always wear safety goggles in the garden as well. For lighter jobs I have the ones with wraparound arms like spectacles; for bigger jobs like climbing rose pruning, hedge cutting, etc , where there's danger of branches springing back, I have a pair which are fully enclosed like diving goggles. I buy them from Screwfix and they're fairly inexpensive.

May I ask for a link ? I don’t mind the cost it’s an important investment for me. They have to fit over glasses as well

Hi Roy. I personally prefer to wear a visor. You get full face cover and it doesn't limit your vision. screwfix.com/p/site-face-sh...

They're all fairly cheap as I think they're good enough for putting over my own specs as protection and I'm not doing regular heavy work. Goggles - screwfix.com/p/safety-goggl.... Safety specs - screwfix.com/p/uvex-super-o... this is helpful.
