Are you based in the West Country and living with sight loss? ITV would like to speak with individuals from the Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon, Bath, Plymouth, Cornwall or Devon areas about 'silent' electric cars.
The Government has announced that all new 'silent' cars must have a special sound alert installed to help partially sighted pedestrians. ITV would like to speak to individuals living with sight loss in the West Country to get their thoughts on this, and to discuss how difficult it is to detect these quieter cars. They would also like to know what experiences you’ve had with these cars and find out your thoughts on what changes are needed to improve safety for those with sight loss. The pre-recorded interviews would take place early next week and would be televised.
