I know you have to notify them if you have Glaucoma in both eyes , I don’t have Glaucoma , but just been diagnosed with primary angle closure awaiting iridotomy to both eyes , is this notifiable too?

Thanks

No, only if your vision is affected by the angle closure. The DVLA aren’t interested in what is going on inside your eyes, just your vision. Your procedure probably means you won’t be able to drive for a bit but that isn’t notifiable.

Thanks, thought this was the case but wasn’t sure. Visual field test I had done at hospital was normal.

It should be fine, but you can look at the DVLA site on line and there's a list of the eye problems that are notifiable.
