Does any on here with advanced Glaucoma experience strange visual images ? I'M tending to see what looks like,a,billowing cloud in my bad eye, also big grey spots in my centre vision that don't move...my sudden attack was 2 months ago...perhaps it will take time to go now I'm having treatment, the Opthalmologist can't really tell what's causing it ? Maybe someone on here with Glaucoma knowledge will be able to explain what I'm seeing.
Also my eye drops are kept in the fridge, however the drops don't feel as cold in my affected eye ? Strange !

I am not sure about your clouded vision, but having just had an inflammed eye following surgery this week I also found that the cool drops were not easy to install at first because they felt at room temperature. Now a few days on, the inflammation must be reducing because the drops now feel really cool and are quite a treat.
About three years ago I developed a large grey ‘eyebrow’ just above my central vision line in my worse affected eye. I felt I had a ‘bleed’ but the Consultant did not acknowledge this and described it in his notes as a ‘shadow’. I am not really aware of it when using both eyes but it is still there when I cover my good eye. Maybe it isn’t as thick and heavy looking, or maybe it is the mind adjusting my vision as it has done during migraine attacks.
Thanks for your message Windflower...it does sound similar what I have in my vision....what is your condition.. ( glaucoma ) ? I see a strange image when I blink too which is also the cause of the anomaly...
I have exfoliative glaucoma, also known as pseudoexfoliation glaucoma. The body produces a systemic shedding of a protein like material which clogs the drainage channels in the eyes etc. It progresses more rapidly than open angle glaucoma.
