Hello everyone,

I would like to introduce myself to all of you.

My name is Trish and I am a glaucoma helpline advisor for Glaucoma UK. I am also part of the Admin Team.

I joined Glaucoma UK (previously International Glaucoma Association) in 2007 and was trained by an Ophthalmic Nurse in all aspects of glaucoma. Being a helpline advisor can be challenging at times but knowing I have helped so many people, makes it all worthwhile.

So many say to me "I know its a silly question but...…."

There is no such thing as a silly question regarding your glaucoma. Its a question you want to ask so never be worried that its a silly one. Its an important question to you and that's good enough for me, so ask away.

Thank you for your excellent advice, l have often thought some of my questions are silly or rather they may be thought so by doctors but l now ask away as it is important to me.
