Yes, there is severe rising damp in my home. It has been assessed by the local EHO as having class one health hazzards in every room due to severe rising and penetrating damp, plus mould. I am very allergic to mould and also have asthma.

We are starting to work on the effect of homes on human health with the National Aspergillosis Centre and ISSE (isse.org.uk). It is quite clear in a recent World Health Organisation report (euro.who.int/__data/assets/... that asthmatics and particularly children who are asthmatics should not be housed in a damp home.

We can give further help via ISSE if you wish?
