Stress can certainly contribute to chronic inflammation and has been shown to delay healing, so it would be best to reduce stress as much as possible if you have ABPA. nacpatients.org.uk/stress

My personal view is that stress can & will exacerbate pretty much any health problem you have. If I get under sudden, extreme stress, my asthma/breathing/coughing issue will flare up almost immediately. If I'm under more long-term, generic stress, I always feel worse physically after a while.

I know it's hard in the world we live in, but I agree totally with Dr Atherton that anything any of us can do to relieve stress, we really should!
