Hi folks.

Originally, I signed up for the anxiety and depression support group. I came across your group while exploring.

It sounds like my post stroke symptoms qualify as FND but there's been no diagnosis.

In brief, my symptoms involve numbness and burning , limited range of motion, muscle spasms (botox treatment), pain. I'm currently in treatment for "frozen shoulder".

I'm hoping for advice and ideas to try in my daily meditation, stretch, balance and exercice routine.

Thanks for being here. 🙂

I had trouble "liking" your post. Strange. You are really cool and I am intrigued by your interests. If you'd be okay with it, I'd like to keep in touch, even though our problems are different. You had a stroke, and I'm insane (with chronic pain). I'm in California. If you ever need anything... and my cats think Pugsley is cool. If you ever need anything... Maybe I'm confused (still sick) but are you leaving for another group??

Hi CatsandCheese, I'm sorry to confuse you. I'm not leaving our "angst" group. I forgot to change the tags for the post. Still, chronic pain is a daily part of my life too so I can relate. I do hope you stay in touch and that my exploring will help you find something useful. 🥳 hug your kittens for me.

Could well be. Can you be a bit more specific are the spasms in your face and where is the numbness?

Sounds like from reading your bio, you have been through a lot. Which one of your symptoms is the most dehabilitating?

From a fellow cat lover.

Left arm and hand are numb, palm to fingertips frequently have a burning sensation. Left shoulder very painful and spasms throughout upper left torso. Getting botox treatments along with PT for the spasms. Thanks for listening😺

I am guessing if your left arm and hand are numb that could make your shoulder feel heavier, ie painful. Although not experiencing it, its hard to tell. Have you had any injury on left arm and hand?
