Always fun when the researchers catch up with what patients have been saying for years :) I.E. that FND is a feminist issue.

How when males have FND too.

Because it disproportionately impacts women. Same with migraine. This does not mean women discount men with FND or migraine, it means we highlight the issues that impact all of us.

Understand numbers may be higher for women but calling it a feminist thing I think they shouldn't because it impacts both.

You can write a rapid response to their article to let them know your thoughts on this. I found the article compelling and interesting since more women than men seem to get 'dustbin' diagnoses of FND but did note that their trial parity comparisons focused on neurological conditions, not other neuropsychiatric conditions.

I will have to read it more in detail on tomorrow. Does sound interesting if they are actually focusing on the neurological side of things.
