FND AWARENESS, will only truly happen if a celebrity or politician gets it. If only someone “important” would “come out”

It sucks for me to say this but I think this is true. FND is mostly known as conversion disorder in the U.S. and with the mental illness label that’s attached to it, will make the “important people” hesitant to “come out”, afraid it will affect their careers. If several celebrities would come out and form a movement, maybe the rest of us will finally be heard, be taken seriously and more medical researchers would get funding for FND.
