I admit, I have never been a huge fan even when it was called twitter, I never really understood it, but maybe a new channel will increase the purpose of prostatewarriors.com

I am posting on X (slowly) all the articles published on the site, I hope they won't block me!

if you want to follow it from your X profile:

Prostate Warriors

@ProstateWars

Cheers!

Hi Max, have you considered Bluesky (bsky.app/)?

It seems that a lot of disgruntled X users (as well as Musk haters 🤬) have left X to join Bluesky 😏

I will check it out, thanks!

I have never used BlueSky myself, and after reading the reviews on the AppStore and PlayStore, I am no longer so eager to become an adept. It seems that they need to step up their development/testing to solve platform compatibility issues while offering more stability between updates.

Please note that Bluesky is the left's answer to Twitter, which now, with Musk taking over X, does not sensor people that the left hates. I see no problem with you being on both platforms as cancer does not care if you are right or left! And don't have to worry about being blocked on X.

OK! I think you are right, cancer is apolitical!

Unfortunately, I think everything is political these days, even cancer (and medicine in general).

Have you considered a substack? I follow a few people there. The substacks are quite varied including both extremes.

It has a lot more flexibility than Twitter or Bluesky in terms of content and can be monetized by providing some "exclusive" content.

well...that was what one of my nephews suggested me, as he is there as sports journalist, basically writing only about NFL (he is very good, but NFL in Italy? A thousand followers and 50-60 paid followers are already a great result IMO :-D )

I will ask him! Thanks!

OK! And I could offer a paid area where....I basically publish the same content as for the non paid area! 😀😀😀

😂😂😂 but seriously, it's not a bad idea, they seem a tad less angry there!

Were approaching choppy divided water in our converse lol.

I will stop with this. A tad less angry is an understatement lol.

lots of people are leaving Twitter at the moment. Bluesky might be worth posting on too.

Having said that, I find searching for advanced prostate cancer in latest often turns up interesting new research. Though I’m sure you’re there way ahead of me.

I liked all your numerous research posts before and will go to X. I didn't understand fully awhile back you made one post about being censored/moderated. Is that true?

Yes, and you risk having this post deleted 😀

I can still read the posts there, but no interaction

Keep up the good work, the only issue with X is that the feed is populated with all other distracting stuff unlike going to this site directly. I guess your website instead?

prostatewarriors.com is going ok 😀 I have not reached 100 newsletter subscribers but I am happy to give some science based hope to all of us!

I also think that Bluesky would be a good place for your prostatewarrior - site.

Nwdx profile image
Nwdx in reply tobwochf

Disagree. controlling all your own data on your own website is the only way, no social media bs or censoring issues, political windshield wiper going left and right, they whims and so forth. Also websites respect privacy- nothing else does including Gxxgle- the worst.

It’s all political. I won’t follow you on Bluesky others won’t follow you on X. What an awesome world the West has created.

Good point- but you can refuse to read noise

Substack is good. As for "the left" leaving "X", for Bluesky, that's not exactly true. Progressives left and progressives and the left are not the same thing. Exposure on X will still be massively greater. And no you won't be banned.
