Sort of interesting: Xenon has been FDA approved for decades for anesthetic purposes.
It actually touches lots of pathways for an inert substance.
They are now doing peer reviewed research on it surprisingly effective effective on Alzheimer's.
If it proves out, it will probably be in off label use in just a few years.
But the problem is much more complicated with natural substances. There are way too complex to do modern clinical trials. Each component basically requires its own mini trial. Costs way way too much to trial them.
