Hernia after prostate surgery

Has anyone on here had a hernia problem after prostate surgery, I have just popped a inguinal hernia after sneezing apparently it's a risk that comes with having prostate surgery,can anybody recommended a good surgeon in the south east area and what method of surgery did you opt for and have you had any side effects.

Mr Kulkarny, Consultant Urologist, St Peter's Hospital. My friend's hubby had prostate removed and hernia repaired by him with no problems. Likewise another friend of their's. My hubby has PC but had radiotherapy. I have also had bladder surgery by Mr Kulkarny and found him excellent - he was recommended to me by a Professor of Urology at Guy's.

yes, had a hernia after prostate surgery. It is quite common and linked to how the surgery was done.
