Get it checked out... as soon as, the waiting lists are really bad, i am waiting forever for my first appointment. You mustn't worry about what others are thinking/doing, you have to take care of yourself. Do constructive things like check your diet, research what happens, are there any alternatives etc etc, And no it is not a death sentence.

Good Luck

OH was diagnosed with low grade prostate cancer last year, he's had a template biopsy and is on active surveillance. He's adjusted his diet by having soya milk and eating more brocolli and other veg recommended to help with prostate (see the Prostate UK website for list), he also drinks pomegranate juice and takes Pom T capsules daily. I'm not saying it will bring miracles but his latest PSA has dropped from 5.9 to 5.4, not a big drop but something positive to hold onto.

Prostate cancer doesn't need to be a death sentence, don't ignore any symptoms and keep proactive in your care.
