I don't have experience of momolelitonib but I had to change from rux to fedratinib because my platelets were too low. It seems the normal pathway
Firstly, congratulations on getting Momelotinib. Did Ruxolitinib lower your red cells production? My wife has recently started Ruxolitinib (three weeks) and having MF with very high platelets, we wondered why she was put on Ruxolitinib, as it seems mostly available for PV patients. Her platelets are now high and her red cells and Hgb are getting lower.
many thanks for your response
I have been on Rux for 4 years and until now has worked well
I've been on Fedratinib for about 18 months and transfusions every 6 weeks and am about to start on Momelotinib in the hope of not needing transfusions any more. It hasn't happened yet but I will post to let you know when it does (should be in the next two weeks). Hilary
many thanks for your response hope all goes well I am having consultations in two time as to time scale for swapping will post when I know more
Mike
