Hi Dave, I to get a numb bum when I sit down , I find it hard to drive when this. Happens becauce it makes my right leg go numb as well. As for not thinking straight my head is all over the place sometimes, and as for trying to remember someone's name when talking to them no chance. Margaret

Hi Dave, I couldn't sit down for long without going numb or aching. Hubby bought me a lovely gel support cushion and I haven't had any problems since. I put it on my chair and I am instantly comfortable. I don't fidget any more and I don't go numb or achy either. Perhaps it's worth a try you getting one, they're really a good idea as they take the pressure off of your bottom and the top of the back of your legs too.

As for thinking straight and head going numb, yes I get that too! All part of having Fibro, oh the joys! I have learnt to write everything down, that helps with the foggy numb feeling. I don't think straight any more, my head can be all over the place, so many things charging around inside it. I don't analyse it too much, I write things down in the order I want to do them in, I find that helps and then I can tick them off as I go.

Hi Dave, Yeah have this problem too, so annoying when you can't just sit still to relax, and my family just take the mickey when i start doing weird hand movements while watching telly , Mums doin her wacky hand dancin again, but hey gotta laugh or ya go mad.!!!! Also get the fibro fog, not good n a really odd one to explain to people but nice to know there are others who understand how you feel. Take care.xxx
