Hey, can those who had frozen eggs and went for round 2 after a successful pregnancy tell me what it costs or how it works through the NHS?

Hey do you have frozen eggs or frozen embryos? your nhs clinic may have a self funding part of their treatment. They should have their price list on their website. For us a frozen embryo transfer was around £2k for the frozen transfer each time including meds. I’m not sure on frozen eggs though but they usually have a breakdown of all prices and treatments available.

For us the number to call to get a consultation and get started etc was different admin team once we were paying ourselves (although nurses and doctors etc all the same) give your clinic a google and see if anything come up if not give your nhs clinic a phone and they should be able to advise the best first steps. Xx

I think it might depend on NHS trust. Where I am in Bristol there is no access to IVF related services if you have a child already. So I know people in your situation who have then self-funded using their (nhs collected and frozen) embryos at the same clinic. A FET was about £2k from memory.
