hello,

I had this from 18 to 21, mine was caused my graves disease they will need to control the thyroid level with medication if that doesn't work then they may either suggest raidoacgive iodine or partial removal of the thyroid gland. I was managed with medication and im now actually underactive . Have they done your tsh levels and given a diagnosis?
thanks for coming back. How frustrating for you to now now be under active. I had san they said looks like goiter wAitiing blood tests the only thing that changed is my period is delayed and thyroid gland enlarged x was your cycle affected? X
When i was first diagnosed i lost a lot of weight and my periods stopped for 6 months pretty much but once the levels were sorted they came back normal. A goiter tends to just be a symptom i think of a condition but can happen on its own x
omg no way 6 months π gosh I hope this donβt happen me. I have lost weight but gradually and its remained stable but I did change diet so I donβt know if that made me loss weight xx had they not returned to 6 months because thatβs how long it took to get medication sorted?
I was in a bad way to be honest when i was 18 , graves disease is an auto immune so i was on quite a bit of meds, i think because it was a combination of sever weight loss changing my periods and the hormone imbalance im sure yours wont last that long xxx
Hi Lovely just read your message I know some home remedy which lot of myfriends and realtives have done and overcome this problem, itwill cost nothing but can definitely improve your goiter or even erase it.So basically you have to eat a lot of coriander leaves as well as the stalk of it which you cam easily add in your daily food, also you can make a coriander chutney if you wish too for your taste buds.
Also avoid red meat for the time being see do it alongside with your meds (if you are taking) and you will see improvement.
I know a lot of people who have taken it and has helped. A very close friend of mine had borderline thyroid and doc advised some low dose for it which she was upset to take as she is young so was determined to not take the meds so she made some lifestyle changes and had did this now she is off the thyroid completely.
I hope this makes sense and you get to start your cycle I know what it is to wait so long for the cycle.
