Hi ladies , my first ivf cycle failed in September, last month’s af was on time . I’m spotting brown a week before I’m due af is this norma?

This happened to me on my last cycle, it just takes a long time for your body to get back to normal. I think I spotted for 7 days before my period started, which did last for a bit longer too, I think I bleed for 7 days rather than 5 im used to. The next month I spotted for 3 days before then this month I didn't spot at all.

Yes, its very common, I had a failed cycle in September too. Period was due last Thursday, I have had very dark red/brown spotting since then, with with the odd splash of red blood but no full flow and back to brown spotting again.. it will kick in eventually dont worry x

Thanks for replying. Makes sense ! Today Iv got very heavy bleeding & swollen so assuming af is early !

Hoping it all settles soon . Sorry for your fail in September 😟 it’s all a really hard time . Didn’t expect the following months to be confusing! Xx
