5th clomid side effects worry

Ive been asked to take a 5th round of clomid. After the last 4 i developed quite bad endometriosis and had to have it removed. This is on the list of side effects and i cant help but connect them as it wasnt diagnosed before despite the monthly scans for more than an a year. Im not sure i want to go for a 5th im scared of the effects. It was so painful last time.
