OTD 16dpt is it a very very faint line or am I seeing things?

I’m supposed to call my GP/clinic and tell them my result but I honestly don’t know what it is. Can any hpt experts help me out?! It’s my first IVF cycle, it was a frozen embryo they transferred.

Thanks for your reply, it helps, I don’t want false hope, false hope makes things harder. I just want to end this cycle now. I’ll have to call my clinic and let them know. It’s the weekend so they’ll get back to me tomorrow and hopefully stop my meds.

I can see something. I would call them and say what you can see and get them to do a blood test.

If you haven’t seen “one more shot” yet I would recommend it as she also had a very faint line you could barely see and it was positive and a while for her HCG to build up. Good luck xx

Hey, you’re right. I am going to tell them what I see but also mention that I think it’s negative and see what the clinic say. Hopefully organise a blood test to be sure. Also, I always hear these amazing stories like the one you’ve mentioned, I don’t think I’m one of those people.

My sister is so hopeful, she keeps telling me a line is a line. And I’m like, THIS IS A SHADOW OF A LINE! She’s supportive and very optimistic haha!

Thanks for replying to my post!! xx

I think try a test tomorrow morning with a first response early result (don’t buy a rapid result by mistake!). That will show a positive if it is there at all, I do think there is something there but clearblue aren’t as sensitive xx

I can see something but those tests are a nightmare for giving evap lines. I’d try a FRER

I got very faint lines on that type of clearblue test several times but had it confirmed immediately on a digital. Could you pick one up and test first thing tomorrow?

Good luck x

Try another test 48hrs after the last test as hgc doubles every 48hrs. Good luck

Wow thank you all so much for your support! I think you are right, I will try frer. I have heard about clearblue’s evap lines but this “shadow” appeared within 3 minutes and stayed that way. I know this is tmi but I’ve been feeling stabbing pains down below, started last night. I’m a bit concerned.

I use pink dyes never used blue as everyone says the dye runs. I’d test again there is a slight line possibly be darker tomorrow xx best of luck xx
