Running to raise funds for miscarriage research

Hello lovely people!

I hope you are all A’s well as you can be

Sorry I’ve been AWOL from the site for a while since we had our second missed miscarriage in April.

To help me deal with the MC and give me something positive to focus on I decided to start training for a half marathon in June. I’d entered it earlier this year with some work mates and I didn’t think I’d be doing it as I should have been 4 months pregnant, waving from the sidelines. So I’m trying to turn this experience into a positive by running to raise money for Tommy’s, funding research into the causes and treatments for miscarriage, still birth and premature birth.

I just wanted to share with you my just giving page in case you’d like to support the cause.

Many thanks in advance

Kirsten

hey hun. this is an amazing thing to do and you are so so brave. I ran the women's 10k at weekend there and I did it for our baby just to show that I am strong if that makes sense. I had no training what with everything but just slow and steady with a very supportive friend by my side we finished..you will be so proud of yourself and your baby would have been proud too xxx
