Hi, good luck with your everything! I just wondered about the endo scratch is it supposed to make your chances greater? I am not on the ivf journey yet but am not far away and just trying to learn as much as possible! Xx

Yes it’s supposed to increase chances. I’m NHS and have the scratch, glue and embryoscope included I feel very lucky as I’ve seen they increase chances and cost a fair amount of money private xx

Ah pleased they are offering you those options on the NHS! What’s embryoscope? Xx

An embryoscope is where they take pictures of the embryo every 10 minutes to determine the best quality eggs. We had it when we went through our first round of IVF and I’m now 19 weeks pregnant xxx

I have my scratch booked for Saturday and start my meds on Monday so all feeling very real here too. I'm having my injection lesson tomorrow - eek! When do you start your meds? Are you on the long or short protocol? X

I’m on Norethindrone already I started on the 27th Feb, stop them next Friday and start injections on the 23rd March, we are long protocol but had to have extra long due to Easter and the clinic being shut. Appointment on weds is an injection teach, internal scan, scratch and trial collection. Xx

I know right! It’s a brand new clinic it’s mainly private but does NHS as well, I think it’s just because they have the equipment already x

I’m on the pill at the moment and had my scratch on Friday. I’m due for egg collection at the beginning of April (for the 3rd time due to never having frosties 😕) First time having the scratch so fingers crossed it makes a difference. Good luck on your journey! X
