First scan before treatment starts

Feeling really nervous now. First cycle of IVF to start, first scan booked for tomorrow morning 😱, meds ready and waiting the go ahead.

Doing on my own and feeling really overwhelmed, it’s been a long journey to get this far and and can’t believe it’s finally come around.

Does anyone know if they start you straight away on the meds after your first scan? All new to this and having a friend come round to do the first set to make sure I get it all right so assumed it will be tomorrow 🤔

Wishing you lots of luck, it depends what protocol your own. I’ve always done long protocol so have started down reg on day 21 but again each clinic does thing slightly differently so they’ll no best xx

Thank you, I’m on the short protocol and had a long delay from information day to starting treatment so everything has gone and starting to panic that I’ll mess it up 😢

Hello i will be on the short protocol too, unfortunately they cannot fit me in this month but when they do i will start straight away. I have had all the meds and teach months ago so like you i was just waiitng. They will do my scan n day 2 or 3. Best of luck xx
