Day 3 of taking clomid, feel ok appar... - Fertility Network UK
Day 3 of taking clomid, feel ok appart from extreme exhaustion no energy what so ever! Can anyone relate to this and give any advice ?
Yep. We had 4 cycles of Chlomid 150 mg. I was very tired and emotional. And my vision was like a strobe light party. The vision part was quite scary and I couldn't work for a few days, then I needed specs for a while. Fortunately, my vision corrected itself back to normal a few months later. Tell your partner how you're feeling. Any extra support or sympathy helps. I treated the side effects like I would a migraine, I hid in a cool dark room and tried to just sleep it off. My sister is taking Chlomid at the moment on 50 mg, she is experiencing depression like symptoms. She is going to talk to her doc about it. Take notes of how you are feeling and mention to your doctor.
I was fine on 50mg but it didn't work so they increased to 100mg after 2 months. I felt like a crazy person - like about to explode with rage! After those symptoms had gone I was just left knackered. It will pass
I was on 50mg for 6months and nothing x no side affects then was upped to 100mg for 3months only side affect were prob that I was more emotional than ever and had mood swings x oh and ovulation was very painful felt like someone was pulling my insides downwards it even hurt to walk at times but still no BFP so I am no awaiting IVF xxxx
Good luck to u on clomid x lots of baby dust for u xxxx
Overall i took 50mg clomid for 10 cycles with break in the middle. My ovaries felt achy each month and I was pretty emotional but not extreme. I dont recall exhaustion and i dodnt get headaches or affected vision. It didnt work for us either thiugh so now starting ivf.
It will regulate your cycle though and give you a better chance for timing.
Good luck
I was put on clomid for 9 months and i got every single side effect... hot sweats, tiredness, headaches, feeling sick.. you name it, I had it! I told my consultant and he said that this was normal... Good luck and enjoy every step of your journey! Fingers crossed for you and spreading baby dust for you xx
