I often wish it was faster but then I remember that I spent several decades getting myself into this situation so it makes sense that it will take time to make any changes. Seems like you are on the right track and I guess the only real advice I can give you is to view this as your lifestyle for the rest of your life and it is a good thing. It is more frustrating to be dying of end stage liver failure, at least that is the impression I get from people who don't put in the work.
Thank you Wayne, I'm doing my best. I'm going to add more exciting. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I'll be eating some turkey and veggies only.
I binged on pumpkin pie for TDay. I need to binge on veggies as I think I am getting too many carbs. I have a friend who is a diet tech. She gives me a lot of info. Said she read in a nutritionist website that it is recommended for those in menopause and older to make sure that one gets enough choline. A whole egg has a lot of choline. Hormones help protect the liver. Choline will help later in life when hormones wane.
