Olive Oil plus vinegar-still good for you?

I am trying to adjust to ingesting straight olive oil - does adding a bit of vinegar change the health benefits? Or must I take it straight
Is taking olive oil straight good to do?
That is what I have read on the Fatty Liver Foundation- FLF website, which is a fantastic place for information if you haven’t checked it out yet.
I don't know that straight is good or bad. I suspect you can make an argument either way. It is probably processed more slowly by the bowel if taken with food but food might interfere with some of the phytochemicals that are beneficial. I imagine the response is individual and probably varies between people. The thing most people don't think about is that just because you swallow it doesn't mean it is used. Technically, until it passes through the wall of the intestine it is still outside the body so although you are carrying it around the contents of your gut are still on the outside.
Some vinegar is actually a healthy condiment. It is a challenge. I just consider it to be medicine and I guess memories of childhood I don't expect medicine to taste good
Why don't you ingest it by incorporating it into your regular diet? Like make a salad dressing with it and add spices. Cook with it or put it on your veggies as a topping.
I am doing that, but from reading the FLF website it appears that more Olive Oil is needed in our diets. I think I read that Wayne, my new guru of all things liver!, drinks 3 Tablespoons a day, like a medicine 😬...I am really being kind to my liver but my tastebuds rejected the plain olive oil....this is really a tricky disease/condition to learn about. I found out I had a fatty liver about 3 years ago and all my doctors at the time said oh it’s normal....Now I am paying for my ignorance. Sorry for rambling.
How are you doing with your progress?
