  • Fatty liver was found on a general medical, drs assumed that the cause was gallstones, how ever no change once gallbladder removed. A year later diagnosed with an underactive thyroid. Paid for further tests this year and it's hashis. Having read a lot yes I think the cause is hashis.

  • Are you referring to Hashimoto's thyroiditis?

  • Yes to hashi

  • Yes, I do believe my fatty liver is due to hypothyroidism and Hashimotto. Found last year through ultrasound before having my gallbladder removed because of chronic inflammation, pain, nausea and vomiting.

  • Hemochromatosis

  • This is a chicken and egg scenario. I don't think the scientific community can answer that one yet.

  • No but have tested positive which Doctors feel Cirrohos is causing postive blood work.

  • Accordig to my doctor it was caused by being overweight. I should weigh 140 and I weigh 205. My husbands was caused by weight and medications.
