Bell’s palsy and ear congestion?

Hi I have an unusual question but thought it was worth asking. I have had Bells Palsy for almost 2 months, and for the last week I have had very clogged ears. It almost feels as if I am on a plane and my ears need to pop but they cannot.

Has anyone experienced any ear issues (other than noise sensitivity)? Very frustrating to have this now on top of everything else. If anyone has any information to share I would appreciate it!

Hi. Just wanted to say I dealt with these same issues the 4th time I got BP. It lasted for a lil over 2 months, and the ear pain, discomfort, and the clogged sensation was the worst. It did gradually pass as the BP started to subside. I am currently dealing with BP for the 5th time, and this time having a ridiculous amount of pain in my neck. And my eye is probably the worst it’s ever been. I guess with this illness we are just never truly going to be prepared. It seems to bring on different issues, or adds to old issues you’ve already dealt with. Still as everyone has been telling me here, rest, take it easy, no stress, and take care of yourself . Wishing you the best
