Hello All

Just reaching out to others in a similar situation. Soooo this is fun eh... NOT. I developed BP whilst on holiday in the Maldives... holiday of a lifetime and I bring back facial paralysis!

Been to GP on return and she’s upped my steroids as Maldives hospital had me on only 20mg... whilst she’s upped me to UK guideline of 60mg which finishes tomorrow (day 7) however nothing has been said about a tapered end? Have others just finished the 60mg without a tapered end?

I finished my bout of steroids with no tapered end. GP told me that there would be limited side effects due to taking them intensely over a short period of time. That was 7 months ago. Still recovering however....hope you get improvement soon.
