I have had RHS for 15 years and still get attacks at night stabbing pains a burning sensation and prickling. any suggestions for relief?

Usually the ruptures appear 24 hrs later then it all dies down till the next time. In a week or a month never know when. It's tiring and leavel me depressed.

Hi, we're assuming you mean Ramsay Hunt syndrome? We cannot be sure what you are describing, you would need to be seen by a relevant health professional who can diagnose knowing all your medical history. It could be post VZV neuralgia which should be treatable with standard neuropathic pain medications prescribed by your GP, failing that you could ask your GP for a referral to a specialised pain management team.
