I have been told to see a specialist if my right-side bells palsy shows no sign of improvement after two months. My GP was not much help.

Left side BP at end of April, still trouble with eye, mouth and nostril. Right side BP at end of August, no improvement yet.

Hello and sorry for our late reply. As you are still having residual problems after the first bout of facial palsy then your GP should refer you to a specialist team for that even if they think it is early days for the right side to recover.

Many thanks. I managed to attend your AGM where I picked up lots of useful advice which I am now acting on. Keep up the good work.

I bought a facial Slendertone. I built up the use of it. Starting 5 minutes 3 times a day. Up to 20 minutes. It stimulated the muscles, keeping them toned and even on both sides of my face. I am now fully recovered and believe that this piece of equipment had a huge part in that recovery. Shop around, although they are usually around £290 you can get them cheaper. I paid £160. An excellent investment. Certainly helps with self esteem and will keep muscle tone even.

Many thanks, I will pick one up soon though I've got a bit of a battle on my hands first as an MRI scan picked up something unpleasant.
