Please can I get some advice with potty training?

Hi, I am after a bit of advice and support to keep going with potty training my 2 yrs 8 mths old son. We started potty training 3 weeks ago which consisted of me taking him to the potty every 45 mins and then suddenly he was asking when he wanted to go before I had to remind him. We have a sticker chart and all was going fantastically.. then last week it all of a sudden went wrong. He suddenly doesn't tell me any more. If I put him on the potty every 45 mins I invariably catch a wee, if I don't he pees himself without uttering a word. It doesn't bother him at all to be wet. I don't feel my praise has waivered, I have stopped the sticker chart but will start again, feeling a bit deflated to be honest. Any ideas please?

If you can stop and start again in a month or so I’d recommend. I started my daughter in the July without success but a month later she got it very quickly and had very few wet accidents.

Thank you so much for taking time to reply :0) . So, I was going to revert back but I realised that the issue is when he's wearing pants and or just trousers. I guess he feels line he's covered. Since I let him run around naked yesterday afternoon he's been telling me he wants to go again. So thank you for your advice, but I am going to have a couple of days indoors so he can run around half naked (heating on of course!) and see how we go x

That’s a positive sign, best of luck! I did that with my other daughter and when pants went back on, she regressed slightly but then back on track a couple of days later. Overall she took a week and it all worked out so hopefully the same for you 👍🏻
