The administrators of ERIC have kindly allowed us to post about a new market research study we are running on Short Bowel Syndrome in case any ERIC users are interested in taking part.

We are looking to speak to parents/caregivers who have children (aged 1-17) that have been diagnosed with Paediatric Short Bowel Syndrome with intestinal failure (SBS-IF) and are currently receiving treatment. The aim of the research is to better understand the parents/caregivers and their children who suffer from SBS and how they manage and live with the condition on a daily basis.

The interview will take approximately 2 hours and will be conducted in your home with our experienced healthcare moderator. Before the interview you will be asked to complete a 5 day patient diary which should take approximately 15 minutes per day. You can complete it either online, via an app or on paper. There is also a 30 minute follow-up interview conducted by telephone.

You will be paid £260 for taking part and at least 10% of your earnings will be donated to your choice of our registered charities, including ERIC (you can donate more if you wish).

If you are interested in taking part please submit your details at liberatingsurveys.com/enqui...

If you have any questions just let us know, we’d be happy to help.

Thanks very much,
