I recently had an AUS inserted and it is working fine. I'm wondering if it is still safe to use a penile pump. Could anyone offer their experience if they have gone that route? Thanks!

AUS and using a penile pump...
Hi Kark, I had an AUS implant in 2010, still working great, and had a penile implant 2014, also still working great. I have never had any problems using either. At times it does feel unusual having implants on each side of your testicales but you also get use to it. Wish you the best of Luck. Feel free to contact me with any more questions
Thanks Dale...Good to hear that both are able to work well. I was more curious about anyone who had the AUS and was also using a penile vacuum pump which uses a constricting band at the base of the penis. I'm thinking of trying either tri mix or bi mix because I'm afraid the constricting band will damage the hose that leads to the cuff. I should have been more clear in stating my question.
Kark, I miss read your post. When I got my AUS implant, the Dr. said I could you a penile pump, but had to be very careful, which scared me. So, I did not try. I had a friend that was in the same situation. He used a penile pump all the time, with no problems. He put the band around his penis, not around his balls. Hope this helps a little, Take care
It is totally safe. Installed at the same time the AUS was put in. Haven't had a bit of trouble.
