Hi Vernigma, not too sure on this question. I am allergic to wheat, protein and dairy, and have never tried the diet. Perhaps you could do more research on this question, i.e. through "Google", and find some answers before you consider taking it. Whatever you decide, DO NOT STOP taking your medication!

Hi Lesmal, Ketogenic diet is mostly recommended for kids. I have heard of a vagus nerve device

Hi vernigma, any diet is worth a try but I believe the Ketogenic one is strict and everything has to be measured out etc. Yes, there is also the VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulator). Regret, they are so expensive but if you can afford one, it's worth looking at also. I would get proper information about it first. Still do not stop taking medication. All the best.

Hi Vernigma, I'm on the ketogenic diet myself. I believe it is worth a try. It is not easy to fully stick to the diet since almost all foods you buy today do have some form of weat or sugar in it. I still fully believe it is worth to try other ways. Just never, never stop taking your medications. You can even read about herbs.Just never stop taking your medications.

Hey there, i think it can perhaps improve the amount of seizures you getting, but no diet can replace your epileptic meds, since that is too dangerous. I have tried going that way, and it did not work, so please stay on your medication as well as trying out the diet. Regards Lizelle Bester
