Hello

I've recently increased Lamictal and have now got some really nasty bruises. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

My son started lamictal the end of 2015 and we were thrilled that he's had no seizures since. (He's also on Klonopin and depakote). However about two months ago he started getting a strange looking rash that began on his feet and now has moved up his legs to the knees. Because that was a side effect that the pharmacist and the drug insert warned us about, he called his doctor and the doctor told him to completely stop taking the 25 mg twice a day. He has just stopped so we'll now wait and see if the rash goes away and/ or seizures recur.

Yes - Lamictal - then your capability of getting bruises is a lot greater than normal! Bruises got on me very easily for the 16 years that I was on Lamictal! But they didn't really hurt - they just kept on popping up! Sometimes I couldn't have pictures taken of me! But I didn't really suffer - they were just offensive to the eye!
