AI tools for research and support with epilepsy

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has been using AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini for advice and support to help manage their condition?

In particular for practical guidance in learning about the possible side effects and interactions of different medications, the impacts of medications on your brain and what the meds actually do to the body, insights on how to stay well and manage your health when you do a demanding job, how to manage epilepsy during the menopause.

I've started doing some research using AI tools on these questions, and have been surprised by the quality and depth of the information provided. In the absence of being able to access any kind of detailed advice or support from clinicians or my neurologist. (they dont have time, or the expertise)

I'm obviously wary about the accuracy of AI information, but some of the insights have been real 'aha' moments for me. With some really good practical advice on eg how to advocate for myself and questions I need to be asking during medication changes. And personalised guidance on how to avoid work burnout with my kind of epilepsy. I'd love to know if others have tried this and what they think.

Thank you
