Epilepsy and Dogs

Does your dog's loyal presence offer reassurance? We would like to learn more about how people with epilepsy feel about dog ownership, and what impact their dogs have on their lives.

We're excited to partner with Support Dogs on a groundbreaking survey exploring how epilepsy impacts dog owners. Your stories will help us uncover the rewards, challenges, and unique bonds between people living with epilepsy and their dogs.

If you could complete our short survey, it would be really appreciated and help us with our research.

I love dogs and having another rescue dog was one of the plan’s Epilepsy’s put on hold.

Living alone with frequent seizures & what have all been emergency hospital admissions mean caring for any animal isn’t possible .

I’ve had rescue dogs over the years and hope they got as much out of it as me.

I’ve now got no idea if I’ll be in a position to meet a dogs needs, train a dog and care for a dog at any point considering how things have gone since epilepsy started.
