I had this same question but safty shows that this is actually more dangerous to epileptics but I had to travel by taxi for a hospital appointment and I have to again and just for the ride I put a scarf over my mouth but I did read on the rules that some people are exempt from wearing face masks it was on/around Pg 30 but epilepsy wasn't exactly mentioned but people who can't safety wear them is .

Hi e-in-me

Thank you for your post.

There seems to be some confusion over the use of face masks for people with epilepsy.

We have check with one of our advisers who is an epilepsy nurse. They say they are not aware of any problems with wearing a face mask if you have epilepsy.

Regards

Diane
