Wellbeing is about feeling good and functioning well. When you have epilepsy, looking after your wellbeing can help you to have as few seizures as possible. It can also improve how you feel about having seizures. As a result, you are more likley to feel better and function better in your daily life.
UK Neurologists saved my life. Totally quiting the use of alcohol, cutting down on the use of sugar products - the only Coke I drink is Coke Zero - & and try to stay away, or cutting down on products containing caffeine. There is also no use in smoking, as my neurologist suggested cutting down on that & now I forget to smoke. If I'm stressed out about something, or depressed & there is nobody around to talk to - I sit with my 2 Jack Russells & have conversations with them, as if they understand every thing I say.
They enjoy the company & attention, just as much as I do get from them.
