I am so sorry to hear this news... Several seizures in the last month and severe head injury. I would suggest you speak first to your Doctor or Neurologist - they would be able to lead you in the right direction of who to contact in this regard. Also, I would speak to your Neurologist regarding medication. If this gentleman is having several seizures a month, then perhaps his medication needs to be changed or dosages altered.

So sorry to hear this. Must be frightening . I don't know where to get an actual one designed for epilepsy, but my son suffered a head injury through rugby and he has to wear a full skull helmet. You can get these from rugby and sports stores. It's the same as the Chelsea goalkeeper wears for his serious head injury. They are light but have good support and padding. Check this out it might help.

Your GP should be able to help in this area. Also if the person in question is seeing a neurologist they also should be able to referrer you to the appropriate dept. where you can receive help. In my experience you are able to get one helmet free of charge of the NHS.however, I am not sure if this still applies. There is a firm called Aremco which supplies protective helmets. There telephone number is 01622858502. Hope this is helpful.

Wishing you every success in finding a helmet, but better to be safe than sorry... Please keep us posted on your results in finding one!
