My 10 year old grandaughter has absence epilepsy and hides her tablets from time to time. How do others handle this situation.

My son who is 12 is pretty good now with taking his tablets, but it wasnt always that way, we have lots of little chats about how important it is to keep the same levels in his body. also ive told him he is responsibe for taking them, i do watch him take them but not standing over him. You could try some sort of reward chart, we did this in the early days which helped alot.
