Simple partial seizure - soreness and weakness

I'm very new to all this. I've been having seizures (simple partial) for at least a week. Not sure what has triggered them. I've noticed that they come one after the other, and this goes on for several hours. Afterwards, I'm incredibly sore - my torso and especially my right arm, which also tends to be very weak, and I have a headache. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to ease the soreness and right arm weakness?

Hi sorry to hear you are going through this, as you know there are many types of seizures. Have you seen a neurologist & had a MRI scan?

Your body will feel shattered & could be bruised, do you have family support?

If you are already on medication it might be worth discussing an addition or a change! But you need to speak to your neurologist about these or any other options! Take care of yourself

Thank you for your reply SJClaverley. I do have an appointment with a neurologist scheduled for next Friday. He may schedule an MRI - I'll know after I see him. As far as family support or any support, unfortunately, I don't have that.

Hope all goes well & don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Good luck & keep us informed, we are always here for a chat & support 😄 & compare notes 🤪 X SJ
