Hi I don't know about this. I think most people who have seizures have no warning (I certainly don't). I have been looking recently into getting a seizure alarm which involves you wearing a transmitter on your wrist or a badge and if you have signs of a seizure (some pick up on falls, some work by noticing rapid movement, like fitting) it calls a nominated number (for me it would be my husband's mobile).

I imagine these are very useful if you live alone. I don't, but my husband has a long commute, so I often end up in the house for an hour or two each day on my own. The ones I looked at were about £200-£250 to buy, but my doctor told me you can rent them from some places for about £20 a month. I think in some circumstances they may be available on the NHS. I'm going to leave it for now, as I have only had 2 seizures recently after a gap of 7 years, and I've just altered my medication, so hopefully will be better controlled again now.

I hope this is helpful.

Try supportdogs.org.uk/our-work... I don't know if there are grants but they are a very helpful charity.
