I recently have been diagnosed with seizures as result of radiation of brain tumours and prescribed anti epilepsy drugs.

There is no harm travelling when one has epilepsy... I have done it many times. Usually, one requires a doctors letter to say you suffer with epilepsy, and it must include the medication you are on. Ensure you take enough medication with you for your trip, whether it's a holiday or a longer visit. When checking in at the airport for your flight, advise them you have epilepsy as well as when boarding for your flight. This way, the hostess knows you have a medical problem, but check also with the airline you are flying with if they require any other information.

Thank for the info. I have been recently diagnosed with seizures due the side effects of stereotactic radiation surgery for brain tumours. I'm not sure this is the same thing - I'm sorry if I confused things.

I fly all the time with Epilepsy, I make sure I have enough medication with me and let them know when boarding about your condition, they do look out for you they have been brilliant with me. Also depending on what kind of seizures you're having you can ask to be put in the seating that's best for you, and having a letter from your doctor is a great help too.

Hope that helps
