Coccyx pain on Endo flare?

Hi! Does anyone else experience bad pain in their coccyx/tailbone when they have a flare up? I’ve never seen anyone mention it but it gets so bad sometimes I can’t sit down only lay in my side but even then it’s so sore! Thanks

Hi, yes i feel that. Sometimes it feels the tailbone is "looking" to come out of the skin this is how painful it is.

Yes that’s exactly what it feels like! It’s so hard to sleep as well cause every time I move it’s so painful

Forgot to mention. I have stage 4 endo that involves the bowel as well.

Hello.

Yes I get this and I also get it if I’m stood and walking too long. It feels really tense and spasmy and have to lie down totally flat to or on my side. Sitting is impossible too.

I have stage 4 endo involving the bowel and apparently it is related to the bowel involvement.

Hi, I had coccyx pain which turned out to be a pilonidal abscess. I’ve had surgery twice, once to drain it and it came back and then in July I had the second surgery to removed the entire sinus but still have constant pain when sitting down. It has never been linked to my endo but you never know. I was diagnosed with stage 4 2 years ago and am due to see my gynaecologist in December as my endo pain is getting worse.

Thanks, I’m wondering if it could be that because i have had a boil type thing there a couple times over the years but I do seem to sometimes just have pain there at the same time as a flare up
