Anyone take combo birth control pill and have more pain?

I was told by my DR to stop the birth control till my break through bleeding stopped then restart a new pack. Well I got a few days pain free and then I started my pill again. I swear to you I can feel ovary pain ( I have a large ovarian cyst) anyone else feel like the combo pill made things worse ? I will hopefully have this cyst removed in November.
