After laparoscopy and results

So I had my laparoscopy yesterday. My consultant says I don't have endometriosis but I do have adenomyosis. So I will be leaving the site now due to not suffering from it. I want to thank all the lovely women who helped put my mind at ease whilst I was waiting for my laparoscopy. Xx

I've also been diagnosed with adeno after laporoscopy, no endo found. However, most doctors think about adeno and endo beeing the same thing..

Can I ask you what your symptoms are with adeno?

I have bloating which comes and goes, I have excruciating periods and very heavy periods. I suffer pain on my left side just bellow my stomach. I don't sleep very well due to being in pain a lot of the time. Tired all the time. No energy and I have lost a lot of weight due to being to sore to eat and when I do eat my stomach swells and in more pain. All my symptoms point to endo but no endo found just a bulky uterus. Have suffered from heavy and painful periods since my first period at 9 years old. I'm now 25 and all my symptoms got worse when I had my little boy in 2014. Xx

Thank you very much for the message. I have the same very heavy and painful periods but the worst for me is an excruciating severe pain in the low right side pelvis that starts a couple of days after my period ends and lasts about five days. I can manage with Ibuprofen in these days.. and unfortunately I wasn't able to keep a pregnancy yet.. had four miscarriages.

My uterus appered bulky at laporoscopy but no endo. I had MRI that also was showed abnormal uterus consistent with adenomyosis.

What did your doctor say? Any ides how to manage these disease? I'll probably give up soon and have a histerectomy , but very hard decision without kids..
